Launched approximately 1985, double diagonal timber glassed construction, designed by Frank Pelin. Reportedly built by Colin Bertelsen, in 42ft LOA 12.14 Beam 5.2 Draft. Powered with a 430HP TAMD73 Volvo (reportedly with 5500 hours on a rebuild engine) with shaft drive. A bow thruster is fitted for excellent berthing etc. Reported cruse speed at 1800rpm is approx. 15knots and 2600rpm approx. 20knots.
The Columbia is known for its spacious and capable design, featuring a comfortable interior, a generous flybridge with clears and hard top. A roomy cockpit is perfect for fishing trips or extended cruising with family and friends and has an enviable record in the game fishing world with excellent catches.
